Something's been eating at me for quite some time. Since February I've been wanting to get more involved in music making and I've wanted to ditch FL Studios in exchange for something more versatile and fulfilling. Since then I've began shopping for music equipment. So far I've managed to purchase the following.

* Korg Electribe MX
* Korg Kaoss Pad 3
* MicroKORG Synthesizer

As funds are low at the moment I'm still waiting to get a couple of other things. Mainly new cables (right now I'm working with RCA cables with couplers so the sound quality is horrible), a mixer to plug everything into, and possibly a dedicated computer to run recording/mixing software from. Some seperate speakers would be nice too since my computer speakers are sharing the tower, my TV, and PS3. Aside from those setbacks I am having fun learning about all my new equipment and already see a lot of potential; much more than with software.

Hopefully in the near future you can all bear witness to what is surely soon to come.
